CS Research Lab took part in NATO’s SET-322 research group in Warsaw, a dedicated platform for the Evaluation Framework for Multi-sensor Tracking and Fusion Algorithms. We are honored to be the only French laboratory involved in this initiative, and more specifically, the only industrial lab among the participants.

A Commitment to Strategic and Technical Excellence
In this collaborative group, our experts work on the Stone Soup open-source framework. This cutting-edge platform facilitates the assembly and benchmarking of various approaches in multi-sensor tracking and data fusion, capabilities that are crucial for enhancing situational awareness across operational domains, such as drone tracking, space situational awareness, passive radar detection, air-to-air engagements, and maritime operations.
Innovative and Collaborative Approach
The Research Task Group has two primary objectives:
- Develop a NATO+ version of the Stone Soup code to strengthen international collaboration in algorithm evaluation.
- Conduct evaluation exercises on practical, real-world use cases to ensure that scientific innovations meet NATO’s operational requirements.
Our role at CS Research Lab combines applied research with advanced technological development. We are dedicated to establishing objective metrics for assessing algorithm performance, thereby enhancing accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency in complex tracking environments.
We extend our sincere thanks to the partners and experts from various nations who make this collaborative effort possible. Their support and expertise are essential in creating innovative solutions for the future of defense and security.
